Вже другий рік поспіль Молдова та Румунія спільно організовують конкурс «Destinația Anului 2025», покликаний презентувати найпривабливіші туристичні локації обох країн. Головна мета — популяризувати місця, де культура та природа поєднуються в гармонійне ціле. Цьогоріч серед фіналістів конкурсу — кілька унікальних молдовських напрямків, відомих своєю автентичністю та атмосферою. У номінації «Чарівні землі» Молдову представляє природний заповідник Plaiul Fagului, де збереглися праліси бука та дуба. Заповідник пропонує чудові туристичні маршрути для шанувальників дикої природи та піших прогулянок. У категорії «Міста, що надихають» бере участь столиця країни — Кишинів. Місто вражає поєднанням старовини та сучасності: туристи можуть побачити як історичні пам’ятки, так і доторкнутися до динамічного культурного життя міста. До номінації «Казкові села» увійшло село Țîra у Флорештському районі — одне з найстаріших поселень у регіоні, що налічує понад 560 років. Село розташоване на мальовничому березі річки Рăут. Його історія починається ще з часів Стефана Великого, коли у 1465 році воїнам, які відзначилися при захопленні фортеці Кілія. Відтоді тут виникли унікальні кам’яні житла — бășкуцеле, або землянки з вапняку, вкриті дерном. Із приблизно 30 таких осель 12 відкриті для туристів, особливо під час щорічного фестивалю «La Bășcuțele de la Țîra», де відвідувачі знайомляться з місцевими традиціями, кухнею та ремеслами. У категорії «Розваги та пригоди» Молдова представлена кінно-спортивним комплексом Kazak Club — унікальним місцем, де можна не лише відпочити, а й навчитися верховій їзді. Також серед фіналістів — всесвітньо відомий туристичний комплекс Cricova, відомий своїми підземними винними галереями, та культурно-природний заповідник Orheiul Vechi, що поєднує археологічну, духовну й природну спадщину. Голосування за улюблену дестинацію триватиме до 25 березня. Переможцем стане місце, яке зуміє підкорити серця публіки своєю неповторністю та щирою атмосферою. The Hidden Charms of Moldova’s Green Hills
For the second consecutive year, Moldova and Romania are jointly hosting the “Destinația Anului 2025” (Destination of the Year 2025) competition, which highlights the most appealing travel destinations across both countries. The contest places special emphasis on the harmonious blend of culture and nature, celebrating places where authenticity and scenic beauty go hand in hand. Several Moldovan destinations have been named among this year’s finalists for their distinct character and allure. In the category “Enchanted Lands,” Moldova is represented by the Plaiul Fagului Nature Reserve. This protected area is home to ancient beech and oak forests, offering pristine hiking trails ideal for nature lovers and eco-tourists. Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, is a contender in the category “Cities That Inspire.” The city is promoted as a place where the past meets the present in striking harmony. Tourists can explore historic landmarks alongside vibrant modern attractions, all within a welcoming and accessible urban environment. In the “Fairytale Villages” category, the village of Țîra, located in the Florești district, has been nominated. One of the oldest settlements in the area, Țîra traces its roots back over 560 years to the reign of Stephen the Great. Perched on the banks of the Răut River, the village is renowned for its traditional bășcuțele—unique limestone earth houses. Around 30 of these dwellings remain today, with 12 open to visitors, especially during the annual festival La “Bășcuțele de la Țîra”, where guests can experience local crafts, cuisine, and folklore first-hand. In the “Fun and Adventure” category, Moldova is showcasing a diverse array of experiences. These include the Kazak Club—an equestrian and agro-tourism complex, the world-renowned Cricova Wine Complex, and Orheiul Vechi Cultural-Natural Reserve. Each offers visitors a unique blend of relaxation, heritage, and hands-on discovery. Public voting for the competition is open until 25 March. The title of “Destination of the Year 2025” will go to the location that captures the hearts of voters with its beauty and authenticity.
