According to the Estonian Publishers’ Association, the best-selling book of the year was Minu kallis tervis (“My Dear Health”) by Estonian author Katariina Libe, written for young readers.

The Banned Books Museum in the Estonian capital, founded in 2020, has established itself as one of Europe’s most influential cultural spaces exploring the boundaries of free expression and the realities of censorship across the world.

On April 29, 2025, at the Estonian Writers’ Union hall in Tallinn, the inaugural Estonian Women’s Literature Prize was awarded to author Karolina Pihelgas for her novel Lõikejoon (“Fault Line”).
